and no, i'm not talking about kane. chinese new year is probably one holiday that gets supercommercialized but you feel that it's justified because...well, just because they promote and advertise it for what it's all about. the message hits home and then you see the light...maybe it's not so bad, anyway. anyway, cny is pretty fun this year, because neither of my parents are with me, and i'm just chilling away at home.

though i really, really should be starting on that assignment that's due too soon.

yesterday, being the first day of cny, was pretty fun. usually, all the people who'd give me ang pows are usually the ones that i'd face on the first day. it wasn't that bad. i'm not gonna disclose the amount that was given...all that i can say is, i guess that it was generally better. ever wondered how kids get the preferential treatment? like...the first-blooded would get twice as much as new aquaintances and stuff like that? weird...though funny, as well. i ate a lot yesterday. football today was good, if not for the fact that i was playing to beat rohan. oh, well. more on that later.

anyway, i'd like to thank God for prawn crackers. heavenly things. my cousin's working as a roulette dealer in genting. lucky guy.

i guess i was born too slow.
