"the lord of the rings: the return of the king"

it was basically a two year long journey, but it's ended. quite hard to believe that most of us have waited two years for it, but...well, there it is. it's quite a fitting end, but it leaves you for the feeling of wanting more. so what do you do when you've read the book [i'm gonna finish one of these days], played the video game and watched the movie? nothing, i guess, except wait for an extended version to come out and peruse through it all over again.

the much mentioned 7-minute clip of saruman will probably pop up on the extended edition [that'd be in six months' time, probably], but besides that, how wrong can this movie be? minas tirith in all its splendour, shelob in full effect, plus liv tyler. sorry. anyway, aragorn gets elendil, leads an army of the dead to fight for gondor. rohan comes to gondor's aid. frodo and sam are getting closer to minas morgul, and the mountain of fire. gollum is still gollum. it really is worth it.
