tugging heartstrings.

my dad had a minor attack in the afternoon after working on the garden. he went to the family doctor with my uncle, and got some medication. he had overexerted himself, and also had a stuningly high rate of blood pressure. he was given the subsequent medication, and up til 10 minutes ago, was sprawled in the living room on a mattress, clutching his chest. not a pretty sight. though i wonder why i wanted to laugh the first time i'd seen it. strange, really.

anyway, he's doing better now. so. it should be good. a mini-tutorial in mortality. but it's been taken with good humour.

better your chest than a needle up your ass. a word for word reproduction of what i'd told him.

oh, well. he's fine. pray.
