"lotr bonanza gone wrong"

sunday was quite alright. in a sense. i picked up paolo from church at about 12 [i was wandering around bangsar from 11 onwards since i thought that i was meant to be at church at 10:45], and then we went to edwin's new place to pick him up. paolo had stayed over at edwin's the night before, and he was playing at church. not much happened on the ride there besides my sudden interest in samantha [this girl who was there at paolo's new year's day bash '04] coz they were talking about how she liked paolo to a saccherine level. i made the remark that being the best guitarist in a church got a girl pregnant, but...oh, well.

anyway, to cut a long story short...the two of them slept through the two towers extended edition, so ryan [paolo's little brother] and i managed to make some serious headway in the co-op level of the return of the king. and i mean major headway.

after a bit, we went off to sunway pyramid and the rest is...well, gone, really. the movie's still brilliant, and the good thing about watching a movie after having everyone witnessed everything that occurs in its companion video game is the fact that scenes are instantly recognizeable and you'd just understand how much creative licensing was used in the production of the game.

oh, well.
