gerak khas and calvin klein.

corruption is rampant in malaysia; that's a foregone conclusion that most of us have already drawn by ourselves. if you've been reading about datuk mohd said yusof, you're probably interested in seeing if the authorities are going to do something about it. here's the shorthand of it: customs had seized timber illegally imported from indonesia --- the company that had done so was the good datuk's. he told them to let him off and "close one eye". your tax dollars at work. the customs department brought it up and the good datuk subsequently gave focus upon how the people at customs were selling seized cars to their close acquaintances. now there's been a pong of responses from the good datuk and customs on a daily basis. so much has been said about the seized cars but what about the timber?

close one eye? it appears that some of us already have.

yes, it's just wood. but the fact is, the culprit here might get away scott-free with nothing more than a slap on the wrist, and maybe a small fine that his coffers wouldn't strain over. this might just play out the way we want it to, but chances are, it won't. just an everyday occurence, this is...because there's probably more going on with people like this in cases that we don't know about. the people whom we vote into office to represent us are abusing the power vested in them. nothing new there.

nothing that we can do about it, short of protesting and getting kicked around and ISA'd.

a man caught for shoplifting would get it worst than our good friend here.

where did the good people go?

here's a calvin klein model for your friday. try guessing who it is.
