head-butts and wheelies.

schumacher: this is it.

the replacement congratulates the only man who can bring down Alonso.

it's hard to tell from this picture but kubica is a giant.

the highlight of my sunday.
--------------------------------
it's official: this will be michael schumacher's final season in racing. i've never been that much of a Schumacher fan, but i've got to admit that he really is the greatest f1 racer who's ever walked. (talk about not being a fan). he's brought conviction and controversy to the table, and f1 is going to be a much less colourful spectacle without him. since his heady days in benneton to his single-handed revitalization of ferrari, he's made an impact on the sport and brought formula 1 into the global consciousness. this season, i've been doing something i've never done before: i've been rallying behind the man. and hopefully he can leave in style, by grabbing the world championship from Alonso and bidding us a fond farewell.

it'd only be fitting if schumi would knock alonso out of the final race of the season. he'd assure himself a place in the history books. remember zidane? it'd probably be just as memorable.

schumacher is currently only 2 points behind alonso. schumacher must win at shanghai to really keep the pressure up. if he does and alonso places second, at the most, the difference should only be by one point. which leaves japan and brazil open. to give alonso props, he was devastating last year in katayama. but i really do hope he gives schumi a chance coz it's really only polite.

either that or the renault will blow again.

who's your money on now? the returning champion or the upstart to the throne?
