both are old, quisessentially english, and have that mentor role going for them. they're quite powerful, and have abilities beyond comprehension. and in truth, both come from a galaxy far, far away, and a long time ago [to paraphrase george lucas]. so, if you put them head-to-head and against each other, which one of them would win? one guy has a lightsaber...another guy has a staff [let's not forget the sexual connotations of that statement].

this might be some kind of ongoing debate if people would only pick up on it.

so...pick up on it.
