"the return of the thing"

wednesday was spent rather well. after learning that my presentation for internet marketing's first assignment was on friday [today], i had a quick sigh of relief. justin's computer had been fried [it's a hard drive crash, maybe...don't worry dude, i'm trying my best to take care of it], so i searched around on monday for parts. went to sunway and pj but to no avail...the old parts weren't there [for my p2, which i've obviously found parts for]. i borrowed rohan's old p3 [sounds weird, calling it old], and hooked up my hard drive. the fastest thing i've used in a year, the p3. anyway, wednesday was spent playing the return of the king at paolo's...i brought the ps2 over and we spent a good deal of time finishing off the game...only to find more things to finish.

brilliant.

right now, our next priority on sunday would be to level up sam to level 10...we've already got a level 10 gandalf and legolas [required for the "secret mission"].

i went to low yat yesterday and found a p2 motherboard...i'm using my own pc once again. it feels nice, knowing that something i ripped apart has come back to life, but [knock wood] i hope this motherboard lasts. and i mean lasts. it was a stroke of good luck that i chanced upon that korean store yesterday. and they had a lot of crap in it. good crap. oh, well. i guess i won't be seeing a p4 anytime soon, but i guess i'm happy with that.
