"the death issue"

my grandfather passed away on monday night, at about 9:30 p.m.. to cut a very long story short, he got cremated today, and we'll be collecting his ashes tomorrow afternoon. a few things that i've learnt from all this.

1) burning incense can be very fun when your objective is to make a huge fire
2) deaths in the family can bring families together
3) your father won't hassle you over your studies
4) once all your grandparents have departed from your house, your dominant family patriach will opt to renovate the house

the death was sudden, no doubt. we'll be heading to port klang tomorrow to throw the ashes into the sea. it was a bit dodgy at first, coz my dad wanted to keep 10% of the ashes at the temple, but i think it's been all settled now.

i still haven't completed the assignment yet.

shopping for tonight at carrefour got me two bottles of foster's [ahhhhhhhh...], plus i think i'll be making a gin tonic, when i get the chance.

with my father back, we're planning to add and extend and rework the balcony area, fill up any ventilation holes and opt for air conditioning, plus we're gonna change the plumbing and wiring, and we'll probably be repainting as well. not to mention new furniture and the like.

ugh. changes.
