the perfect raindrop.

the idiots behind the matrix revolutions spent a couple of months designing a contraption that would create the perfect raindrop.

we need that device.

our rainfall fight scene is a bit etchy (i'd just like to remind you that it really was raining when we shot it). we need a shot to establish the buildup of the rain itself. we've got a shot of rain; but it's gotta start from somewhere. our scenes that took place around it aren't consistent; i personally have this perpetual fear that most of our viewers will be as anal as imdb goofseekers.

no-lives.

if anyone knows how to create raindrops for the camera, please leave a comment here. so far we've had firehoses, holed water bottles and sticking a camera up a rear car window while it's pouring. this is important enough to be the topic of discussion of a late late night mamak session.

i saw a rough edit of the intro sequence to the movie. kudos to wai mun for the quick cuts and jazza ray for the score editing. though if this ever were widely distributed, someone would be suing us for copyright infringements almost immediately. even if the first pieces of footage are properly edited, we're still going to have to film nigel and sazman's bits. here's an update of what we're expecting to get:
  1. a car chase between a fairlady (not the current model) and a kompressor c-class (and the c-class gets to slide)
  2. motorbikes
  3. a scene shot in new york (no, seriously)
  4. a perdana scene
we can't screw up. happenstance has declared its favour.
